Our Story

The studio of Karlas Crystal was started by Serdar Karaaslan to have a place to share his passion. Serdar's focus is to share creativity:

by enhancing environments through custom specific glass blowing and designs

by facilitating a place for people to experience, learn, and expose them to the magic of glass

by working with student groups with international program in building works of art through a material

Karlas Crystal Terms and Conditions

Eye protection is required at all times when working in any area of Karlas Glass. Glass Masters and/or teachers in any area of Karlas Crystal are responsible for making sure their students and/or interns wear the eye protection at all times.

Appropriate clothing must be worn at all times when working in any area of Karlas Crystal. NO synthetic fibers such as nylon or rayon are allowed in the Karlas Crystal studios. Loose fitting cotton clothing is best. Shoes must have closed toes and backs. Long hair must be tied back when working in any area of the Karlas Crystal studios. You may wish to cut the toe out of a tube sock to be used for covering arms.
